Over the past couple of years NBC Sports has done a lot to bring soccer to the United States, starting with the six-year $1b contract to bring Premier League coverage to Americans. The U.S. now has better coverage than most of the U.K.
NBC’s latest move to bring Americans to football is on-boarding the F2, the skills duo made famous on YouTube. “It’s Called Football” is clearly meant for an American audience and provides a lot of background into the some of the cultural differences in sport and language from our friends across the pond. In the first episode, the F2 visit Chelsea and it’s definitely worth a watch.
