Artist Geoff Gouveia launches one-of-a-kind shirt concept, based on the perils (and reliefs) of being carded in match.
We’ve all experienced it one way or another. That moment after a hard tackle when the referee reaches into his pocket. A moment that could go either way: straight red or only yellow.
Inspired by black on black printing, Gouveia re-interpreted the idea to fit into a common occurrence in soccer: RED and YELLOW cards. The difference between the two on the field is subtle–only the referee can truly make that call. Playing on this subtlety, Gouveia decided to print with yellow ink on a yellow shirt as well as red ink on a red shirt.
The shirts are available now at geoffgouveia.com/shop now! Limited supplies available so be sure to grab one before they’re gone.
