Puma and Amsterdam-based streetwear label Daily Paper team up for their second season inspired by African Football.
Puma and Daily Paper are at it again. This time paying homage to DP’s founders’ heritage and Puma’s 20th year of long-standing commitment to African football. Daily Paper incorporates contemporary street style with inspiration from their African heritage onto Puma’s football kits, gear and classic sneaker silos. The vibrant patterns and attention to detail are beautiful nods to the Puma-sponsored teams from Africa: Ivory Coast, Cameroon and Ghana.
In honor of Puma’s 20th year in partnership with African football, and the launch of the collection, the two brands have donated all marketing funds towards a new football pitch and facilities at the Accra Senior Girls School in Ghana as well as hooking the team up with brand new gear. The project was made possible in cooperation with the Right to Play foundation. A short film that documented this endeavor will be screened in several cities starting September 21st.
The PUMA x Daily Paper Autumn-Winter Collection releases in PUMA.com, PUMA stores, Daily Paper stores and leading lifestyle retailers on September 16th.
