The Premier League and Cadbury partner up for a three year deal, starting in the 2017/18 season. The brand has landed the rights to the Golden Boot and Golden Glove awards.
Cadbury will sponsor the Premier League’s Golden Boot and Golden Glove awards, as part of a three year partnership with the league. Cadbury’s partnership will not see them as title sponsors, as the Premier League now prefers a range of sponsors since the Barclay’s deal ran out last season.

Premier League managing director Richard Masters said: ‘We are very pleased to be entering into a new partnership with Cadbury – one of the country’s most iconic and well-known brands. Cadbury’s popularity across the world, and our shared focus on delivering moments of joy, make this a great fit for the Premier League and we are thrilled they have chosen to work with us in what is their first ever partnership in football.’
A bit ironically, the brand and the league have announced that they will partner in committing to expand the league’s health initiatives and teach children about fitness and nutrition.
EA Sports, Carling, Nike and TAGHeuer are also on the list that Cadbury will join from next season.
I’ll take one of those large, chocolate balls though. Just sayin’.
