Some in the Western world retain stereotypes that China places little-to-no value on individuality and uniqueness. However, young Chinese athletes are among those who are most interested in expressing their individuality and personality through sport. Adidas latest TV spot, which features a cameo from David Beckham, attempts to directly appeal to that urge for expression.
The spot also takes a not-so-slight dig at Under Armour’s “Rule Yourself” TV spot from 2015. Thoughts?
